EMS Ring of Honour

Thank you to everyone from the EMS community, past and present, who were able to join us for our Ring of Honour ceremony.

EMS alumni The late Antony Carola, Annie Gouveia, Felishea Quattrociocche,& Christopher Simeone were inducted into our Ring Of Honour. Mrs. Angela Mancini(Chairman of EMSB commissioners), Mrs. Cristiano (EMS Principal), Felishea Quattrocicche(honouree), Christopher Simeone (honouree), Annie Gouveia (honouree), Mr. Rosario Ortona (Commissioner) were also honored this evening. Congratulations!

Science Fair

February 27, 2015

Edward Murphy School will be sending two groups of students to the Science Fair this year. All our Cycle 3 students participated in the development of their Science projects and had an opportunity to share what they learned with parents and students within the school. Congratulations to Maya, Melina, Daniel and Samuel for your ability to share your scientific knowledge in a fun and creative way. Good luck at the regional competition!

Composition Contest

February 27, 2015

The cycle II & III students were given the challenge of composing a song in honor of Edward Murphy’s 50th anniversary. They had to invent an original melody, come up with lyrics and accompany the song with a rhythmic background. Voted for by their peers, it is a pleasure to announce the winning class for this contest: 6A.
